Job Summary  

This role sits within Thermo Fisher's Clinical Data Management team, based in Bengaluru. As a Clinical Data Team Lead, you will act as the lead data manager for one or more projects, or support the lead manager on larger studies. You will manage limited volume or complexity studies with guidance from senior team members. The role also involves acting as a liaison between clients and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as the lead or supporting data manager for assigned clinical studies.

  • Manage data management activities for individual, lower complexity studies.

  • Work as a link between clients and different parts of the company.

  • Use the rules and details when working on daily project tasks.

  • Tell team members how to follow the rules in their work.

  • Talk often with managers about data management work in the studies.

  • Keep project papers up to date following CDM rules.

  • Check data management work, by yourself to make sure it is good and create and deliver study specific training for project staff.

  • Use interactive computer programs to support daily data management tasks.

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality with client and clinical data.

Educational Qualification 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life sciences, Statistics, or a related field.

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in clinical data management or a related clinical research role.

Skills Required 

  • Ability to follow regulatory guidelines, SOPs and client expectations.

  • Possess written and verbal communication skills and command English very well.

  • Solid organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work well with minimal supervision.

  • Strong customer focus and good interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  • Ability to manage timelines and adjust schedules as project needs change.
