Job Summary 

The Medical Data Reviewer is in charge of looking at clinical patient data to check if it makes medical sense follows the rules is complete and is ready for more review. The job includes finding important problems checking patient information and helping to ensure high-quality clinical data review processes. The role needs medical knowledge, a keen eye for detail strong analytical skills and the ability to work with clinical research teams to keep patient data accurate and reliable during study activities.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Check structured patient data for medical sense and consistency.

  • Check patient information to make sure it follows the rules and is complete.

  • Find important problems, inconsistencies and possible data issues.

  • Decide if patient data is ready for the step of review.

  • Look at information from a medical point of view.

Educational Qualification 

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, Nursing or another related healthcare field.

  • A Pharm.D, MBBS, MD or similar medical or healthcare qualification could be helpful.

  • Knowledge of research and medical words is an advantage.

  • Some experience in practice clinical research or healthcare may be preferred based on the job needs.
