Job Summary
This role sits within the Post Market Surveillance Center of Excellence, based in Bangalore. As a Quality Specialist II, you will update and maintain approved PMS reports using data shared by global business teams. You will follow standard templates and processes to keep documentation accurate and audit ready. The role focuses on document upkeep, not final approval, which stays with the business unit teams.
Key Responsibilities
Update approved PMS reports, including PMSR, PSUR, PMPF and Literature Reviews. Keep PMS reports up to date.
Must ensure PMS documents are reviewed and updated on time each year so PMS documents remain accurate.
Maintain version control for PMS documents and keep a document history, for PMS documents.
Compile data from business teams into standard report templates.
Keep all documentation clear, accurate, and ready for audits.
Spot possible inconsistencies or safety signals and report them to business teams.
Work closely with business unit teams to gather input and feedback.
Share draft reports with business teams for their review and approval.
Use standard templates and support ongoing process improvements.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
Skills Required
1 - 3 years of experience in medical devices, IVD, or a regulatory or quality role.
Strong technical writing skills.
Good data interpretation and analytical thinking.
High attention to detail.
Familiarity with IVDR or MDR regulations is preferred.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Salary Structure
The salary for a Quality Specialist II or similar mid-level quality role at Thermo Fisher Scientific in India typically ranges from ₹5 Lakhs to ₹12 Lakhs per year.
