Job Summary
The RA RIB Surveillance Specialist will aid worldwide intelligence work by watching changes from key health bodies and judging how they might affect Lonza’s business. Key Responsibilities
Carry out worldwide regulatory intelligence monitoring of FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, Health Canada, ICH and PIC/S.
Watch new and updated regulations, guidance documents and regulatory Q&A releases.
Evaluate how regulatory changes may affect business and day‑to‑day operations.
Turn regulatory data into clear and practical reports.
Work with Regulatory Affairs experts Quality teams and other partners.
Run cross‑functional regulatory intelligence review meetings.
Record. Make, assign and follow up on regulatory action items.
Keep intelligence databases, dashboards and performance metrics.
Use Power BI or Tableau to make regulatory data more visible.
Keep a library of regulatory guidance and rules.
Help create training and knowledge‑sharing materials about regulation.
Spot new regulatory. Chances from global requirement changes.
Keep the records to stay ready for audits.
Educational Qualification
A bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred.
Relevant majors are Pharmaceutical Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or a related science field.
Practical industry experience that is equivalent may also be taken into account.
Five or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
Direct regulatory intelligence experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology field is highly preferred.
Skills Required
Deep knowledge of regulatory intelligence and monitoring.
Knowing the rules of FDA, EMA, MHRA, PMDA, Health Canada, ICH and PIC/S.
Great skill at reading and combining regulatory documents.
Strong analytical. Ability to assess regulatory impact.
Ability to turn details into practical suggestions.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other regulatory monitoring tools.
Good at planning projects staying organized and tracking tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Good at working with cross‑team partners and managing stakeholders.
Strong capability to make decisions and solve problems.
High level of responsibility and focus on details.
Willingness to learn and share knowledge.
Ability to work during business hours.
Salary Structure
