Job Summary 

The Scientific Writer will create scientific and medical content with limited supervision while supporting publication and medical‑education activities from planning to approval. The role involves preparing publication materials keeping up with therapeutic‑area knowledge coordinating documents through platforms such as PromoMats/iEnvision and working with commaunication and medical teams. The Scientific Writer will also meet with healthcare professionals support publication‑needs analysis contribute to publication plans and deliver accurate audience‑focused content on time and within quality standards.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create scientific and medical communication content.

  • Develop slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts and related publication materials.

  • Support end‑to‑end publication and medical‑education content development.

  • Manage documentation and approval workflows through PromoMats/iEnvision.

  • Keep knowledge of assigned therapeutic areas.

  • Support publication‑needs analysis and implementation of publication plans.

  • Collaborate with communication teams across regions.

  • Work with MSLs, Product Managers, medical teams, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate with selected vendors to deliver content.

  • Provide materials that meet agreed quality standards and timelines.

  • Share scientific‑writing knowledge. Help build team best practices.

  • Use stakeholder feedback to improve communication content.

Educational Qualification 

  • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy or a related discipline  or a medical degree.

  • Relevant backgrounds may include Pharm.D, M.Pharm, M.Sc/Life Sciences, MBBS or equivalent advanced qualifications subject to the employers screening criteria.

  • Written and spoken English is required.

Experience Required 

2+ years of experience in scientific/medical content creation within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry or academia.
