Job Summary  

This job is part of an expanding pharmacovigilance team that focuses on drug safety. As a Senior Drug Safety Associate you will handle the process of dealing with Individual Case Safety Reports. You will make sure the data is correct sent on time. Follows the rules. Work with team members in areas that help keep quality and smooth daily work, on the safety projects that you are assigned to. Key Responsibilities 

  • Process Individual Case Safety Reports following project rules and required regulations.

  • Enter and review case details accurately within the safety database.

  • Study the adverse event data. Decide the best next steps for each case.

  • Keep case processing moving forward according to the timelines that have been agreed on and meet the quality targets.

  • Check the case data carefully to make sure it is complete and correct.

  • Ask follow up questions when more information about a case is needed.

  • Update cases that have been sent back by quality checks or medical reviewers.

  • Fix, solve problems that are found before or after a case is locked.

  • Do self quality checks before sending cases to the stage.

  • Stay up to date with pharmacovigilance rules and safety reporting standards because knowing these things is very important to keeping patients safe.

  • Work with teams to make sure case handling stays smooth and on time because working together makes every case easier.

  • Be a subject matter expert. Help colleagues whenever they need assistance.

  • Guide team members, through coaching, teaching and sharing knowledge.

  • Join in improvement efforts, support team goals.

Educational Qualification 

  • A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, nursing, or a related health field.

  • Prior hands on experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety work is preferred.

Skills Required 

  • Strong written and spoken English; extra languages are a plus.

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office.

  • Solid understanding of medical terms and terminology.

  • Good knowledge of GCP and pharmacovigilance principles.

  • Awareness of patient safety practices and standards.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Good coordination and teamwork skills.
