Job Summary 

This job is part of an expanding medical writing team that helps with research projects. As a Senior Medical Writer you will. Check important clinical papers from study plans to official reports. You will take charge of writing tasks for studies with very little guidance and you will work closely with groups, in data management, statistics and rules and regulations. The job also helps make sure everything is done correctly. Follows the rules for all the documents that are produced.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and review clinical study outlines and feasibility synopsis documents.

  • Write and review protocols for trials across all phases, along with bioequivalence studies.

  • Prepare and review clinical study reports for regulatory submission.

  • Create Common Technical Documents needed for regulatory authority review.

  • Draft consent forms, investigator brochures, subject diaries, and related documents.

  • Review medical writing documents to check quality and technical accuracy.

  • Help prepare department SOPs with guidance from senior team members.

  • Write and review SAE narratives as part of safety reporting.

  • Manage high quality clinical documents for major regulatory submissions.

  • Prepare clinical and non clinical overview sections and briefing documents.

  • Draft briefing packages for early stage and expedited approval processes.

  • Support other departments with study related documents when needed.

  • Coordinate medical writing activities across studies with limited supervision.

  • Create clear, accurate content for a wide range of client deliverables.

  • Understand client needs and meet them through teamwork and clear communication.

  • Ensure all documents follow internal standards and external regulatory guidelines.

  • Work closely with data management, biostatistics, and regulatory affairs teams.

  • Handle administrative tasks within the medical writing department.

  • Take on extra responsibilities as assigned by department leadership.

Educational Qualification 

  • A degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related scientific field.

  • Advanced qualifications in medical writing or a related area are a plus.

Skills Required 

  • At least 5 years of experience writing regulatory medical documents.

  • Strong knowledge of regulations and guidelines for medical writing.

  • Skilled in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Basic understanding of the publication and congress process.

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with clients and key stakeholders.

  • Sharp attention, to detail and accuracy.

  • Genuine interest in writing and explaining science clearly.

  • High level of English fluency, written and spoken.

  • Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

  • Strong work ethic and comfort working across different teams.
