Job Summary  

This specialist role sits within the Pharma Research and Development space focused on pharmacovigilance. As a Specialist you will support drug safety by managing PV data and processing safety cases. The role plays a part in monitoring and reviewing the safety of pharmaceutical products and this focus, on drug safety helps maintain the safety of pharmaceutical products. This is a role based in Mumbai with day shifts and no travel required.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Monitor and review drug safety data to follow regulatory and company standards.

  • Work with different teams to study and report pharmacovigilance data accurately.

  • Help improve how PV case processing and data management work day to day.

  • Study data trends and share insights to help improve product safety.

  • Keep adverse event reports and safety records accurate and up to date.

  • Support the preparation of safety reports and regulatory submissions.

  • Take part in regular audits to find ways to improve PV processes.

  • Help train team members on pharmacovigilance practices and processes.

  • Use PV tools and methods to make data collection and analysis smoother.

  • Coordinate with global teams to keep reporting consistent across regions.

  • Support the creation of risk management and safety monitoring plans.

  • Stay updated on new industry trends and changing regulatory rules.

Educational Qualification and Skills Required 

  • Strong background in Pharma Research and Development, with hands on PV experience.

  • Good understanding of PV data management and case processing.

  • Strong analytical skills to study complex data and share useful insights.

  • A proactive mindset for spotting and solving drug safety issues.

  • Comfortable using pharmacovigilance software and related tools.

  • Strong communication skills to work well with different teams.

  • Certified Pharmacovigilance Professional (CPP) certificate required.

  • Advanced Pharmacovigilance Certification also required.

  • Willingness to keep learning and stay updated in the pharmacovigilance field.
