Job Description

Jubilant Biosys needs a Trainee Research Associate in its Research & Development Department in Greater Noida.

This position is open to young specialists who are interested in working in the drug discovery field and scientific research.

The chosen candidate will assist in conducting scientific research at all stages of drug discovery. The job responsibilities include working together with the scientific team, performing experiments, and documenting the results.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in conducting research tasks in accordance with the supervision provided by senior scientists. Assist in ongoing drug discovery initiatives in fields including but not limited to oncology, CNS, metabolic diseases, and inflammation. Conduct research tasks in accordance with existing procedures.

Prepare and maintain complete and comprehensive documentation of all experimental processes and results. Ensure data accuracy and proper record-keeping in line with in-house standards. Assist in the preparation of research reports and summaries where necessary.

Work together with teams from medicinal chemistry, biology, and informatics departments. Take part in team discussions and help ensure project milestones delivery in time.

Ensuring that materials are properly handled and safety standards are followed in the lab. Ensure the workplace is clean and organized. Follow all SOPs and regulations.

Improve your skills in drug discovery through constant learning. Help with any other work assigned by your supervisors.

Qualification and Skill Requirement

  • Education: Master’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.

  • Experience: Freshers or candidates with limited relevant experience can apply.

Basic knowledge about the concepts and approaches used in drug discovery would be an asset for candidates. Laboratory knowledge and scientific approaches are advantageous. Candidates who have some knowledge of subjects like medicinal chemistry, biology or other related subjects will get an edge over others.

Candidates should have excellent attention to detail and a critical analytical mind. Good communication skills, both written and oral, are needed. Teamwork ability along with management of duties assigned to them is essential.
