 Job Summary  

The primary responsibility of this position will be managing and analyzing clinical research data to facilitate research and regulatory activities. As a Clinical Data Analyst II, you will perform data cleansing and manage data queries and lock the database. You will also assist with study start up and engage with various teams. This position will require high attention to detail with compliance to ICH GCP guidelines.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Extract, clean, validate, and reconcile clinical trial data.

  • Have primary responsibility for data query management and database lock.

  • Review data and ensure data quality and integrity are both upheld.

  • Locate and address conflicting data.

  • Assist with data management and study documentation.

  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing on the clinical database sets.

  • Review and confirm the layout of CRFs, protocols and EDCs.

  • Follow CRFs and help with data entry as needed.

  • Follow SOPs and regulatory requirements, ICH GCP.

  • Support teams and give client stakeholder engagement.

  • Give mentorship to junior data analysts and continuous process improvement for data and business processes.

 Educational Qualification 

Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Nursing or any related Field.

 Essential Skills 

  • Relevant work experience in Clinical Data Management or the Clinical Research sector.

  • Familiarity with at least one of the following clinical data systems: Medidata Rave, Veeva, DataLabs, ClinBase.

  • Understanding of data cleaning and database lock procedures.

  • Understanding of MedDRA and WHODrug coding dictionaries.

  • Some knowledge of SAS and CDISC standards.

  • Understanding and Knowledge of ICH GCP guidelines and clinical research regulations and frameworks.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Knowledge of time management and prioritization.

  • Ability to work cross functionally.

  • Desire to learn and be flexible to new systems and processes.
