 Job Summary  

This role is about coding clinical data for studies that are running at Indero. As a Clinical Data Coder you will code terms and medications. Use tools such as MedDRA and WHO Drug, for coding. Support data management work. Ensure that information is collected, managed and reported in an secure way. The role follows regulatory guidelines and internal company procedures at every step.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead and carry out accurate coding of medical terms using MedDRA and WHO Drug.

  • Oversee the setup of coding modules for assigned studies.

  • Define and manage coding conventions and synonym lists across studies.

  • Check and confirm sponsor coding licenses.

  • Act as Lead Coder, coordinating coding work across multiple studies at once.

  • Manage coding priorities and balance workload across timelines.

  • Support the coding section of Data Management Plans.

  • Handle dictionary. Related upgrade activities.

  • Validate coding setups, reports and database checks.

  • Support data review. Resolve data queries on time.

  • Stay in contact, with Data Management Leads, CRAs and other partners.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or a related field.

 Skills Required 

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in clinical data coding.

  • Good knowledge of medical terminology and coding dictionaries like MedDRA and WHO Drug.

  • Experience with query management and electronic data capture systems.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Good multitasking skills, with the ability to meet deadlines across global teams.

  • Familiarity with GCP, FDA, or Health Canada guidelines is a plus.
