 Job Summary  

This job helps with the creation and running of Solenis global strategy. As a Global Regulatory Strategy Specialist, you will give information help with advocacy and guide innovation projects. You will work between Regulatory Affairs, Product Stewardship, Innovation, Sustainability and Commercial teams. The role is about finding risks and opportunities in regulations that affect the business.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Keep track of global regulations that affect products, technologies and markets.

  • Create reports on trends and assessments of their impact on strategy for leaders.

  • Help with quarterly reports on the regulatory outlook and updates on intelligence.

  • Help find risks, opportunities and long-term business effects.

  • Keep intelligence tools, processes and knowledge sharing systems up to date.

  • Speak for Solenis in trade groups, industry committees and stakeholder meetings.

  • Handle relationships with regulatory groups and industry organizations.

  • Help innovation and product development teams with advice.

  • Help create and keep regulatory policies and governance systems.

  • Support sustainability work using stewardship guidance.

  • Change rules into easy to understand communication for business.

  • Make briefings, presentations and summaries about topics.

  • Keep regulatory dashboards and communication tools running.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Toxicology, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field.

 Skills Required 

  • Experience in affairs, product stewardship, regulatory strategy or environmental compliance is required.

  • Prior experience supporting chemical, water treatment, biocide or industrial product portfolios is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of chemical regulations such as REACH, CLP or GHS, TSCA, CEPA, UK REACH and K REACH is essential.

  • Familiarity, with regulatory impact assessment and horizon scanning practices is expected.

  • Strong communication skills are needed to translate regulations into clear guidance.

  • Good collaboration skills across cross functional teams.
