Job Summary
This is an entry-level position which provides assistance to maintain the quality of clinical trials at the site level. As a Junior Clinical Research Associate, you will help monitor and manage data and site activities in coordination with senior members of the team. Your responsibilities will include monitoring visits, documentations and site communications, etc. You will also learn to implement ICH GCP guidelines in practice.
Key Responsibilities
Provide assistance in qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closing visits at sites throughout the course of the trials.
Provide assistance in verification of data in both electronic and paper systems for accuracy.
Ensure compliance of sites with ICH GCP guidelines and local regulations.
Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, adapting your style if necessary.
Prepare monitoring and administrative reports in an accurate manner and in time.
Support the selection process of investigators and sites.
Understand and use centralized, remote, and risk-based monitoring techniques.
Help identify risks at the site level and develop basic strategies for risk mitigation.
Help review and track the study drugs and relevant documentation.
Aid with start-up procedures, such as documentation gathering and basic reviews.
Update internal systems for the purpose of site monitoring.
coordinate site activities in correlation with database lock timelines.
Assist close down sites once all required visits are performed.
Educational Qualification
B.Sc. Degree in life sciences or a similar field.
A valid driver’s license, as required by local laws.
Required Skills
Knowledge of trial processes and regulatory requirements is essential.
Knowledge of ICH requirements and local regulations is vital.
Good analytical skills and critical thinking skills help solve problems.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills keep projects on track.
Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language.
Will to adopt new technology and changes in processes.
Comfortable with software like CTMS, eTMF, and EDC systems.
Salary Structure
The estimated salary for a Junior Clinical Research Associate at Bristol Myers Squibb in India is approximately ₹6 to ₹11 Lakhs Per Annum.
