Job Summary  

Lonzas Quality Systems and Compliance team in Hyderabad needs a QA Document Specialist. As a QA Document Specialist you will. Oversee GMP documents through every stage of their life cycle. You will serve as a decision maker for quality records and retained samples making sure everything meets regulatory expectations. This role also requires teamwork with QA Operations and external archiving partners.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage GMP documents from finalization through dispatch or destruction.

  • Offer QA oversight to keep document integrity and traceability safe.

  • Decide how archived documents should be handled, whether to deliver or destroy them.

  • Maintain the True Copy Scanning process and the related SOPs.

  • Ensure that the scanning workflow follows internal rules.

  • Train employees who work with scanning and documentation tasks.

  • Maintain system access rights. Keep duties properly separated.

  • Serve as the QA contact for external archiving service providers.

  • Handle documentation that exceeds the defined retention period.

  • Manage the assessment of retained samples that go beyond retention dates.

Educational Qualification 

A degree in Life sciences, Pharmacy or a related field is usually expected for this role.

Skills Required 

  • Experience in Quality Assurance or documentation management in a GxP or GMP environment.

  • Strong understanding of data integrity and archiving rules for example Annex 11 and 21 CFR Part 11.

  • Strong decision‑making skills to evaluate document retention and destruction risks.

  • Communication and coordination skills with teams and external partners.

  • High attention to detail and good organizational skills.

  • Fluency in English, German language skills are a bonus.
