Job Summary
This job is part of Lillys GSC Regulatory team, located in Bangalore. As an Associate Medical Writing you will work with teams to create documents for people who review regulations. Your job will involve writing protocols clinical study reports, briefing documents and applications for marketing approval. The role emphasizes accurate scientific communication that helps with clinical development and product registration throughout the life of a drug.
Key Responsibilities
Look at data from many places to create a clear plan for content.
Plan, set up and make outlines for regulatory writing projects.
Write, edit and finish documents that help with clinical development.
Start meetings to make sure the writing team is on the page.
Create reasoning to back up complicated or important documents.
Show data in a way that's clear, accurate and short.
Manage the process of making documents.
Keep all the documents ready for an audit.
Do research to make sure the documents are correct.
Help with external medical writing when needed.
Develop relationships with medical directors and others involved.
Keep up to date with the science of the treatment areas for the projects you work on.
Be ready to change and work on types of documents, treatment areas and medicines.
Educational Qualification
A degree in Life sciences, Pharmacy or another science-related field is usually needed for this level of writing jobs.
Skills Required
Previous work in scientific writing in the drug industry.
Know about rules and guidelines that apply.
Good writing, editing and checking skills.
Ability to work with teams that have different areas of expertise.
Good eye for detail and clear communication of science.
Strong skills in managing projects and time.
Feel comfortable with audits and keeping track of document versions.
