Job Summary
LabCorp has put out a call for applications for the position of Associate Study Coordinator for LabCorp’s clinical trials related to PK & TK studies. This position would be most relevant to those who have completed pharmacy/life science studies and for someone who is at the start of his/her career.
The responsibilities associated with this job include helping in study coordination, documentation, and data management activities. The chosen candidate will be working under the guidance of Study Coordinators, Study Directors, and laboratory technicians. The candidate will be responsible for carrying out study procedures. They should be able to multitask and be comfortable working in a second shift (2 PM - 11 PM).
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for PK/TK studies and non-compartmental analysis (NCA). Understand and interpret study protocols, study schedules, amendment documents, and SOPs. Help in developing study documentation and review such documentation for correctness and completeness. Make sure that all study deliverables are properly documented and delivered on time.
Help the Study Coordinators with the study finalization and archiving work. Perform other work related to study archiving and document management. Help in preparing and editing the documents to make them error-free. Help in reviewing the tables and figures prepared by the team members.
Help in scheduling studies in collaboration with the Study Directors and laboratory operations. Learn the effective use of data collection systems and reporting. Help in maintaining study timelines and ensuring smooth workflow. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the team or management.
Qualification and Skill Requirement
Education: Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field (or equivalent experience).
Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in clinical research, CRO, or the pharmaceutical industry.
Candidates must have a basic understanding of pharmacokinetics and toxicokinetics. Knowledge of protocol/SOP and regulations is advantageous. Candidates must be proficient in basic Microsoft Office software like Word, Excel, and Outlook. The candidate having a basic knowledge of Phoenix WinNonlin or equivalent is advantageous.
The candidate must be good at details and organizational skills. They must be capable of handling multiple assignments in a high-paced working environment. Candidates must be excellent in written and oral communication. The candidate must be capable of working with team members from the cross-functional department. Candidates should be comfortable working in the second shift (2 PM - 11 PM).
