Job Summary
The Clinical Data Coder is a full-time position based in the office, which falls under the responsibility of the Clinical Coding and Support department. The job requires coding medical data coming from clinical trials according to standard dictionaries and guidelines of the company. The candidate is expected to collaborate with different departments within the company to ensure the correct and consistent coding of data.
The Clinical Data Coder position will be a great opportunity for the candidate having experience in nursing, pharmacy, or clinical data management.
Key Responsibilities
The job will require carrying out precise coding of medical terms, adverse events, and drugs through the use of dictionaries approved in the industry like MedDRA and WHO Drug.
The person will be responsible for ensuring that all the coding activities adhere to global standards and those of the company. The individual will facilitate the proper allocation of relevant coding dictionaries.
The position will entail the creation, development, and maintenance of guidelines for coding to ensure uniformity and high-quality results. The position will involve working together with a multidisciplinary team to address coding issues.

Qualification and Skill Requirement
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or any other relevant clinical discipline. Possession of an advanced clinical degree is a bonus. Knowledge of MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries is necessary.
Clinical research, clinical data management, and the pharmaceutical industry are desirable work backgrounds for applicants. Medical terminologies are necessary to know.
The job will demand good analytical abilities as well as precision and accuracy. The candidate should be capable of working with structured data and must be very accurate. Good communication and collaboration abilities are necessary for working with internal stakeholders.
Basic computer literacy in using MS Office software and data is required. Time management and efficiency in task execution are mandatory.
