 Job Summary  

This role is for a Copywriting Specialist in Medical Affairs based in Mumbai. The person will write and review content for clinical and regulatory documents. The role covers manuscripts, white papers and scientific content for pharma and life science clients. It also involves Medical Legal Regulatory review and Veeva Vault submissions. The candidate should hold an MBBS degree with 7 to 11 years of medical writing experience.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop content and give medical review for clinical and regulatory documents as per guidelines.

  • Use scientific knowledge to build medical content outlines and guide the team on project work.

  • Write white papers, manuscripts and point of view pieces for clients.

  • Handle complex scientific content when a project needs extra expertise.

  • Explain clinical data in a clear and simple way for readers.

  • Follow best practices for process, communication, documentation and project work.

  • Turn data and information into forms that meet regional regulatory rules.

  • Work independently on assignments, or with a mentor for harder documents.

  • Make sure all content follows client and Accenture internal rules.

  • Work with technology and creative teams to build new digital content ideas.

  • Join client meetings and support new business pitches.

  • Train and guide junior scientific writers to build their skills.

  • Track project timelines, client communication and delivery quality.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Candidates need an MBBS degree, or an MD or M Pharm degree.

  • Around 7 to 11 years of experience as a medical writer or in a similar role is needed, along with a background in the pharma or life science industry.

 Skills Required 

  • Strong writing skills for medical and scientific content.

  • Knowledge of Medical Legal Regulatory or MLR approval steps.

  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats and similar content tools.

  • Skill in therapy areas such as oncology, cardiology or infectious disease.

  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • Skill with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
