 Job Summary 

This is an entry level job in Labcorps data management solutions group for nonclinical studies, based in Bengaluru. As a Data Information Services Associate I you will learn to fill in and search databases while being closely watched. Your job will include looking at study documents putting together metadata and making database requests. The job also includes some learning about software testing and validation as you develop.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Learn the ways to talk directly with clients.

  • Learn how to make form letters and standard messages.

  • Use software programs like word processing, spreadsheets and database tools.

  • Check study documents, like protocols and reports to get information.

  • Learn how to collect metadata to help with database filling and reporting.

  • Check database requests for different types of studies and data.

  • Collect data by hand in spreadsheets and make it ready to use.

  • Do information searches to find the data you need on time.

  • Get trained on software testing and validation as needed.

  • Run test scripts. Keep records according to Systems Life Cycle standards.

  • Do tasks that the team asks you to do.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A Bachelors degree in Science is required.

  • A Masters degree in Science or a Bachelors degree in Technology is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • 6 months or more of experience in research, plus knowledge of programming in SAS, R or Python is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of office software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Good at managing time and staying organized.
