 Job Summary  

This role is for a Medical Advisor at the Head Office in Mumbai. The person will carry out the medical affairs strategy for an assigned zone. The role covers scientific engagement with doctors, key opinion leaders and healthcare experts. It also includes support for medical projects, new product launches and product labeling work. Strong knowledge of diabetes therapy area is preferred for this role.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Build a clear understanding of current treatment trends and therapies through meetings with doctors and reviews of medical papers.

  • Share scientific information in a clear way and act as a trusted medical partner for healthcare professionals.

  • Run key medical projects, such as investigator initiated studies, to build strong ties with doctors and networks.

  • Support local medico marketing plans and keep them aligned with wider business goals.

  • Find and connect with key experts in the assigned area and build strong long term relationships.

  • Give regular feedback to management about key opinion leader development and field insights.

  • Support new product launches through scientific talks, medical rationale and strong literature support.

  • Help review and develop labeling documents for pipeline and local products as per company process.

  • Support the regulatory affairs team by giving access to external experts when needed.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A medical degree in pharmacology is required for this role.

  • Candidates should have around 4 to 5 years of experience in the pharma or healthcare field.

  • Candidates without a doctoral degree may also apply if they have 10 or more years of strong field based experience.

 Skills Required 

  • Good scientific knowledge of the diabetes therapy area.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

  • Basic computer knowledge of MS Office tools.
