Recruitment OPS Lead - Healthcare/Pharma Recruitment
About the Role
Location: Work from Office (Dehradun/Hyderabad)
About Us
Jobslly is a healthcare-focused career platform under the Academically group, connecting doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals with verified job opportunities in India and abroad. We already have a 1M+ healthcare community and a strong pool of trained, job-ready talent from our licensing-exam and upskilling courses. What we're building now is the other side of the equation: real hiring relationships with companies/hospitals who need this talent.
The Role
We're looking for someone who can go out and bring back hiring mandates - not someone who needs to build a candidate pipeline from scratch, because we already have that. You'll work across two tracks from day one:
Track 1: Domestic placement (Pharma / CRO / MedTech / Biotech): Place our own upskilling and exam-prep graduates into real roles at pharma companies, CROs, medtech and biotech firms. This is about building company relationships and pulling in actual job requirements, then matching them against our existing talent pool.
Track 2: Licensing & international recruitment: Build our licensing-based abroad recruitment vertical (doctors, dentists, nursing, pharmacy, allied health via OET/NCLEX/DHA/HAAD/AMC/ADC/APEP and similar pathways) this is a core strategic priority from day one, not a later-stage add-on.
This is fundamentally a relationship and requirement-generation role. The supply side (candidates) is already there, we need someone who can walk into companies and hospitals, understand their hiring needs, and bring back real vacancies to fill.
What You'll Do
Build and own relationships with HR/talent teams at pharma, CRO, medtech, and biotech companies, turn these into active hiring mandates for our graduates
Build parallel relationships with hospitals and healthcare employers abroad (Gulf, UK, Australia, Canada) for licensing-based placement of nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals
Gather and translate company hiring requirements into clear role specs our team can match against our existing talent pool and community
Work closely with our licensing-exam and upskilling teams so candidates are placement-ready by the time a mandate comes in
Track requirement-to-placement conversion and build a simple, repeatable process for requirement intake as volume grows
Represent Jobslly/Academically at industry events, hospital networks, and pharma/CRO hiring circles to build a durable client network
What You Bring
5–10 years in healthcare/pharma recruitment or B2B business development - ideally with real, demonstrable relationships across pharma/CRO/medtech companies or international hospital networks
A track record of acquiring hiring mandates, not just filling them, comfortable being the first point of contact with a company's HR/talent leadership
Working knowledge of licensing/credentialing pathways (OET, NCLEX, DHA/HAAD, NMC, or Indian equivalents), you'll need to speak credibly to both companies and candidates about timelines
Existing network in pharma/CRO/biotech HR circles and/or overseas hospital hiring teams is a strong plus
Comfortable working lean and hands-on in an early-stage environment, this is a hunter role, not a back-office one.
What We Offer
Direct access to a 1M+ healthcare community and an existing pool of trained, placement-ready candidates, most recruitment businesses spend years building this; you're starting with it already in place
Ground-floor ownership of both a domestic (pharma/CRO/medtech/biotech) and international (licensing-based) recruitment vertical
Competitive base + mandate/placement-linked incentives
You will work directly with Dr. Akram Ahmad, the Founder, to build and scale Jobslly from 0 to 1. You will lead the entire Jobslly vertical, with the opportunity to build and grow your own team as the business expands. We will hire additional team members as the need arises.
