 Job Summary  

This role is part of Global Patient Safety. Is based in Bangalore. It involves managing the product safety lifecycle. As a Safety Surveillance Adviser I you will help build safety profiles from clinical trials all the way to products that are already on the market. Your responsibilities will include work related to diabetes, obesity and rare diseases. You will support safety documentation communicate with health authorities and manage safety surveillance, across Novo Nordisk’s global product portfolio.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the safety sections of labelling for the Company Core Data Sheet.

  • Maintain labelling for marketed products and review labelling change requests.

  • Prepare safety sections for DSURs, periodic SUSAR reports, and PSURs.

  • Support the preparation of clinical Risk Management Plans as required.

  • Establish and chair the cross functional safety committee across the product lifecycle.

  • Present safety surveillance analysis and results at defined intervals.

  • Provide safety input for product development plans, protocols, and trial reports.

  • Support Investigator's Brochures, safety summaries, and planned publications.

  • Respond to safety related queries from Health Authorities and Ethics Committees.

  • Support deliverables to and from Data Monitoring Committees.

  • Take part in project and trial teams to support proactive safety communication.

  • Conduct Investigator training on safety related topics, as required.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A Master's degree in Medicine, or an MD after MBBS, is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • Relevant experience in Signal Management, Aggregate Management, and ICSR handling.

  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast changing work environment.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in English.

  • Ability to explain complex safety information clearly to different stakeholders.

 Salary Structure
