The Site Contract Specialist manages site contracts and investigator budgets for clinical studies. This role works within set SOPs, templates, and approval steps to finish contracts on time. The specialist keeps clear and correct records in the contracting system used by the team. This person works closely with study teams, legal, finance, and outside site partners. The role supports smooth and timely trial start up.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare, review, and finalise site contracts using approved templates and country rules.

  • Apply set budget limits and make decisions within the given threshold.

  • Send items outside the threshold to the right approval team.

  • Follow SOPs, work instructions, and confidentiality rules at all times.

  • Work with study teams, legal, finance, and CRO partners to solve contract questions.

  • Keep full and correct records of every negotiation and its status.

  • Meet set targets for cycle time, quality, and data accuracy.

  • Flag any risk to timelines or compliance early to the right person.

  • Point out repeated issues and suggest simple fixes to improve the process.

  • Review older contracts to find ways to raise efficiency.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field is needed.

  • At least two years of experience in site contract work or clinical operations is also required.

 Skills Required 

  • Good working knowledge of clinical study protocols and contract templates.

  • Skill in site budget negotiation within set limits.

  • High attention to detail with strong time management.

  • Clear negotiation and communication skills across different regions and languages.

  • Comfort using contract management tools and e signature platforms.
