Job Summary

This role is located in Hyderabad. Is part of Jeevan Scientific’s Pharmacovigilance Call Center team. As a Senior Drug Safety Associate you will manage calls about information and deal with pharmacovigilance cases following the rules. Your tasks include looking at reports of reactions working on safety checks and keeping records. You will also support making sure that the work meets the rules for drug safety for the products you are responsible, for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage calls related to medical products, devices, vaccines or cosmetics.

  • Understand the caller’s needs. Provide clear accurate information during each call.

  • Handle pharmacovigilance cases according to regulatory guidelines.

  • Record and report adverse drug reactions accurately and within required timelines.

  • Make follow-up calls when adverse event data is incomplete.

  • Prioritize Individual Case Safety Reports for medical review as per client instructions.

  • Assist in reconciling safety data with partners, CROs and internal teams.

  • Keep safety reconciliation documents up to date and properly maintained.

  • Monitor safety profiles and identify any emerging safety concerns for assigned products.

  • Support process improvement initiatives within the pharmacovigilance team.

  • Deliver high-quality customer service during all calls.

 Educational Qualification 

  • B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm D, or BDS is generally expected for this role.

 Skills Required 

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance or drug safety call center operations.

  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

  • Good understanding of terminology.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.

  • Solid knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations and reporting requirements.

  • Excellent customer service skills and clear phone communication.
