Job Summary

The Associate Clinical Data Coordinator will work in clinical data management functions for more than one study. The position requires working with the Data Manager to perform project-based tasks according to sponsor guidelines.

It is necessary to ensure that deliverables of the data management function are of high quality.

The individual will play a key role in effective data management and smooth conduct of projects. This may require coordination with internal teams, sponsors, and study sites.

The position requires being organized and detail-oriented.

Key Responsibilities

It involves aiding in the ongoing process of data cleaning for maintenance of quality clinical data. The incumbent will be expected to analyze the dataset, detect inconsistencies, and resolve any issues detected on time. This will ensure quality data at the specified time.

The candidate will support Data Managers in carrying out data-related functions and ensuring delivery of data that meets sponsors' expectations. It entails making sure that assigned tasks are delivered in an effective and efficient manner.

This job entails being a backup for senior data coordinators or data team leaders whenever necessary. They will perform assigned duties independently.

The candidate will interact with data management team leads to report progress and provide updates on data quality. This involves attending study meetings internally, taking part in discussions, and assisting in conducting audits that can be done internally or externally by sponsors.

The candidate shall help in monitoring the progress of the project, identifying any risks and corrective actions according to guidance from the Data Team Lead. The candidate is expected to go through all training programs and eSOPs.

This involves effective communication with various departments in order for the job to run smoothly.

Qualifications and Skill Requirement

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Pharmacy.

Understanding the process of drug development life cycle and clinical research studies is needed. Communication abilities in oral and written English are necessary.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and e-mail is necessary for this position. It is important to pay attention to detail and be organized.

The candidate should be capable of handling various jobs at the same time in a well-organized environment. Collaboration within the team will be beneficial in doing the job.
