Pharmacist Resume Format (D.Pharm, B.Pharm, M.Pharm, Pharm.D)
Whether you are applying to a hospital pharmacy, a retail chain or a pharma company, employers look for your pharmacy council registration, the kind of pharmacy work you have done and the systems you know. This format covers all three.
Example Pharmacist resume
Registered pharmacist with 3 years of hospital pharmacy experience, dispensing for a 250-bed hospital and reviewing prescriptions for interactions and dosing errors. Comfortable with inventory, cold chain and narcotic records.
- Review and dispense 300+ prescriptions a day for a 250-bed hospital
- Maintain cold chain and narcotic registers with zero discrepancies in audits
- Counsel patients at discharge on dosage, side effects and adherence
- Reduced near-expiry stock by 20% through FEFO rotation and monthly audits
The person and numbers in this example are made up. Your own resume can use any of the four designs and seven colours.

- Mention the software you have used for billing and inventory.
- For pharma company roles, put industrial training and GMP / GDP knowledge near the top.
- Freshers: your project, training and any pharmacovigilance or clinical research course carry real weight.
