Job Summary
This role is based in Chennai. It focuses on turning time social conversations into useful business insights. As an Associate or Analyst you will build topic frameworks refine search queries and analyze social media data. Your work will help shape content strategies, media strategies and reputation strategies across the company. The role also involves building reports that guide decisions, for marketing teams and communications teams.
Key Responsibilities
Turn questions that businesses have into goals for listening and topics that can be measured.
Create, test and improve keywords, filters and search queries to make sure they are correct.
Look at data about how much's being said, what people feel and what is causing conversations.
Find the information and ignore the unimportant parts to help make business choices.
Give suggestions to help with content, media and event plans.
Make reports in PowerPoint, newsletters and Excel that have charts and pictures.
Set up dashboards to keep track of signs for people who need the information.
Follow the rules and policies that are needed for listening.
Make search queries and ways of working so that the results get more accurate, over time.
Work closely with the marketing team the communications team and the analytics team.
Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in any stream or B.Pharm or M.Pharm in Pharmacology or an MBA.
Skills Required
2 - 6 years of experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong ability to turn data into a compelling story.
Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
Ability to manage projects and deliver error free reports.
Strong sense of ownership. A proactive self starter attitude.
Good mix of business and interpersonal skills.
Strong familiarity with media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Comfortable using MS Office tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with pharma or social listening tools is a plus.
Salary Structure
The salary for an Associate Analyst in Social Listening with 2 to 6 years of experience at AstraZeneca in India typically ranges from ₹5 Lakhs to ₹7.8 Lakhs per year.
