Job Summary
This position is located in Hyderabad, within the Medical function of Sanofi, in Externally Sponsored Research. As Associate Project Manager, you will be responsible for research requests received via the company portal and help them through the proper scientific review. You will be responsible for managing study timelines, tracking and reporting of approved research programs. The role also requires close coordination with review committees, cross-functional teams and outside sponsors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day study operations, from proposal to final closeout
Track ESR performance, supply needs, contracts, and payment schedules
Follow Sanofi's internal rules, local laws, and required regulations at every step
Support audits and respond quickly and clearly to audit questions
Work with different teams to keep agreements, supplies, and deliverables on track
Support the Scientific Review Committee with concept and protocol reviews
Build and share metrics, reports, and updates with key stakeholders
Maintain the ESR system, keeping data accurate and well organized
Coordinate with R&D and supply teams to plan for study needs
Support safety updates and required investigator communications
Help train stakeholders on ESR tools and processes
Keep project timelines clear and aligned with the overall program plan
Educational Qualification and Skills Required
Degree in medicine, pharmacy, or another life science field
At least 6 years of experience in clinical research, including project management
Project management certification is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent collaboration skills across different teams and departments
Strong written and spoken communication skills
Good understanding of Google Cloud Platform, ICH standards and research guidelines related to the work
Used to managing deadlines, setting priorities and dealing with people at the same time
Very good at writing and speaking in English
Salary Structure
The estimated average salary for an Associate Project Manager – Externally Sponsored Research at Sanofi in India ranges from ₹14.4 Lakhs to ₹16.7 Lakhs per year.
