Job Summary
The CDC II role at ICON focuses on supporting data management and keeping trial data reliable, complete and accurate. The job requires reviewing datasets handling data queries and reconciliations evaluating data‑review risks tracking study activities and sharing findings with trial partners. The professional also helps maintain eCRFs develop data‑review plans solve issues prepare for audits and work with teams during clinical trial data‑management activities.
Key Responsibilities
Check clinical data in databases, listings, reports and charts for correctness.
Raise, review and close data questions inside EDC or CDMS systems.
Work closely with Data Management partners to support activities.
Follow Data Management Monitoring and Risk Assessment rules for each trial.
Plan and coordinate data review work using relevant tools and tech.
Help make data review reports and review plans.
Track and share data review status with trial partners and stakeholders.
Work with trial partners to meet data review deadlines.
Explain data findings clearly using charts to back up explanations.
Take responsibility for data review tasks under experienced guidance.
Keep trial records. Archive them properly during the study.
Raise data problems found during reviews.
Participate in audits and inspections.
Support the Study Lead with eCRF and data validation rules.
Manage data matching between third‑party data sources.
Share study and task numbers with the wider project team.
Find root causes to help fix repeated data problems.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Life Sciences or Healthcare.
Skills Required
Basic knowledge of data management in pharma or biotech.
With data systems like Medidata or Oracle RDC.
Strong attention to detail especially in fast environments.
Good communication skills and ability to work with many teams.
Knowledge of ICH guidelines and other rules is a plus.
Salary Structure
