 Job Summary  

This position is for a Clinical Data Specialist or a Senior Clinical Data Coordinator in the Clinical Data Management team. The person will work on quality data management tasks that meet customer needs. They might lead a study on a specific data task while working under the guidance of a senior lead. Paying attention to detail is very important. Having communication skills is also essential, for this role.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Act as a Data Operations Coordinator for a study, or take on a focused data task with guidance.

  • Step in as backup support for a Data Operations Coordinator or Data Team Lead when needed.

  • Review clinical data and check it for quality and accuracy.

  • Write and resolve data clarifications with study sites.

  • Support or lead database audit activities when assigned.

  • Help build and test databases, and work on edit specifications.

  • Support testing of data programs as part of the team.

  • Carry out clinical data coding tasks when required.

  • Follow core work procedures and instructions at every step.

  • Build strong working relationships across the wider data management team.

 Educational Qualification 

  • A bachelor's degree in a clinical, biological or mathematical science, or a related field, is needed for this role.

  • Candidates with an equivalent mix of training and experience may also be considered.

 Skills Required 

  • Basic exposure to medical terminology.

  • Strong organisation and communication skills.

  • Good computer skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with initiative.

  • Strong skill in building good working relationships with coworkers and clients.
