 Job Summary  

This role gives expert guidance for Data Management deliverables, such as database layout, checking and CRF creation. As a leader in IQVIAs Data Management team you will help external customers supervise staff training and guide team members. Your work will also include resource planning, proposal defenses and audit support. This role focuses mainly on data management, in Oncology studies.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide expert review and guidance for Data Management deliverables and processes.

  • Support database design, validation, and programming for assigned studies.

  • Offer technical advice to internal and external customers to solve problems.

  • Ensure staff stay trained and compliant with current procedures and instructions.

  • Identify and support the training needs of team members.

  • Mentor staff to build strong Data Management and drug development expertise.

  • Provide input on proposals and scope of work, including bid defenses.

  • Hold regular meetings with direct reports to review project status and risks.

  • Track team utilization, training compliance, and administrative obligations.

  • Build and support plans to improve employee engagement across the team.

  • Coordinate with project leads on staffing, scheduling, and workload planning.

  • Share updates and concerns clearly between leadership and team members.

  • Provide coverage support for direct reports during absences, when needed.

  • Take part in bid defenses, kickoff meetings, and pricing related requests.

  • Support internal and external audits and inspections, ensuring staff readiness.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's degree in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or a related field.

  • An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may also be considered.

 Skills Required 

  • Strong hands on experience in clinical data management.

  • Experience working within Oncology as a therapeutic area.

  • Extensive experience using the Rave EDC tool.

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

  • Good communication skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills to manage staffing, training, and project needs.
