Job Summary
This position is part of Roches Global Analytics and Technology Center of Excellence. It is based in Hyderabad or Chennai. As a Lead Analyst you will be the subject matter expert for Roches business teams. Your job will combine commercial intelligence with the latest GenAI tools. The purpose is to help Roche shape product and launch strategies by providing data backed insights.
Key Responsibilities
Track the competitive landscape across clinical and commercial areas.
Study shifts in trial design, pricing, market access, and launch trends.
Apply frameworks like SWOT, PESTLE, and Porter's Five Forces to guide strategy.
Spot unmet needs and new opportunities within the market.
Build and use GenAI powered tools to speed up research work.
Support summary work like sentiment analysis and clinical trial synthesis.
Cover major industry conferences and study their impact on Roche's portfolio.
Turn complex data into clear stories for senior leaders and partners.
Flag key events, such as regulatory signals or major approvals.
Run scenario planning to understand possible outcomes for Roche brands.
Educational Qualification
A degree in B. Tech/B.E./B. Pharm
An MBA or a master's degree in life sciences or biotechnology is preferred.
Skills Required
Five to eight years of experience in business research market research or competitive intelligence within pharma or life sciences.
Strong knowledge of the drug development process from trials, to regulatory approval.
Comfortable applying structured business frameworks across the product lifecycle.
Practical experience or a strong interest in using GenAI tools for research work.
Ability to influence global teams through clear communication and data visuals.
A proactive mindset, able to manage complex projects with minimal guidance.
Strong problem solving skills, along with a genuine interest in explaining the "why" behind the data
Salary Structure
The estimated salary for a Lead or Senior Analyst in Business Research, Market Intelligence, or Competitive Intelligence at Roche in India ranges from ₹26 Lakhs to ₹28.8 Lakhs per year.
