Job Summary 

This is a Medical Officer hiring process for 600 positions according to the Rajasthan Medical Services Rules, 1963. The job is in the Medical, Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Rajasthan. As a medical officer, you will give care to patients at government health centers across the state. The selection process includes a written test, then checking documents and a health check.

  • Provide care and treatment to patients who come to government health facilities.

  • Working knowledge of Hindi, written in Devanagari script, along with familiarity with Rajasthan's culture.

  • Age limit, 22 to 45 years, as on 1 January 2026, with relaxations as per government rules.

Exam Pattern 

  • The exam is conducted offline in OMR based mode.

  • There is no negative marking.

  • The exam is conducted only in English.

  • The exam center is preferably in Jaipur, though RUHS can change or add cities and centers as needed.

  • Candidates must arrive at the center as per the reporting time on the admit card, since delayed entry is not allowed.

  • No bio breaks are permitted once a candidate enters the exam hall, and no one can leave before the final bell.

Syllabus 

The syllabus covers all subjects studied by an MBBS graduate during the four and a half year curriculum, as prescribed by the NMC (National Medical Commission) or the competent authority.
