Job Summary
The Pharmacovigilance Operations Manager leads safety case work at Amgen in Hyderabad. This is an on site role. You will make sure adverse event cases are handled well and on time. You will guide vendors, train teams and support audits and inspections. You will also track quality and share reports to keep the safety system strong and ready for review.
Key Responsibilities
Support the processing of safety cases so they are correct and on time.
Make sure case timelines for intake, review and submission are met.
Manage day to day work with vendors and other business partners.
Give vendors the training and resources they need to do their job.
Assign tasks to team members and support staff management.
Check case quality and study trends in quality results.
Share reports on quality findings and keep them saved properly.
Prepare and share performance numbers like volumes and turnaround times.
Build and deliver training material for case handling rules.
Answer case questions and raise issues when something goes wrong.
Support reviews of contract wording for data sharing.
Help teams stay ready for audits and health authority inspections.
Do other tasks given by your manager as per company procedures.
Educational Qualification
Amgen accepts any one of these paths. Each path also needs past experience in managing teams, projects or resources.
A master's degree and 3 years of related experience.
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience.
An associate degree and 10 years of related experience.
A high school diploma and 12 years of related experience.
Skills Required
Good knowledge of global drug safety rules.
Experience in leading projects.
Strong skills in using safety systems.
Experience in supporting audits or inspections.
Good use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
Skill in working with vendors, partners and team members.
Attention to detail and a habit of meeting deadlines.
