Job Summary
The Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate helps with drug safety by watching product safety and handling Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs). The role includes finding cases entering data coding with MedDRA, processing safety databases submitting to regulators and following up.The Pharmacovigilance Services New Associate follows client rules and worldwide regulatory rules to keep work precise and steady. This entry-level role is ideal for people starting a career, in pharmacovigilance and drug safety.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor product safety and aid drug safety monitoring tasks.
Create safety cases from incoming reports.
Enter ICSR data accurately into the safety database.
Carry out MedDRA coding following established procedures.
Handle safety cases while meeting quality and regulatory standards.
Assist with ICSR submissions and related follow‑up.
Follow client guidelines, SOPs and global regulatory rules.
Fix case‑processing problems using set procedures and guidance.
Raise issues beyond scope to the supervisor or team lead.
Keep case information accurate and complete.
Finish training by the due dates.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor of Science (BSc)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
Experience: 0–1 year.
Skills Required
Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and drug safety monitoring
Handling of ICSR cases
Identification of events
Monitoring of product safety
MedDRA coding
Use of safety databases
Knowledge of worldwide pharmacovigilance rules
Familiarity with pharmacovigilance SOPs
Proficiency with MS Office and Excel
