Job Summary
This job is about making sure the data from clinical trials is correct and of high quality. As a Senior Associate, Medical Data Reviewer you will use your knowledge of medicine and science to look at complicated data. Your job will help keep patients safe spot problems and make sure decisions are ready, for rules and regulations. The job needs both medical skills and smart thinking when looking at all the data.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct continual medical review of clinical trial data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Evaluate events, laboratory data, vital signs, ECGs and imaging results.
Identify trends, outliers, protocol deviations and new safety signals.
Apply judgment to distinguish meaningful findings from normal variation.
Give input during study start‑up, including risk assessments.
Partner with Clinical Operations, Data Management, Safety and Biostatistics teams.
Support the creation of medical review tools, dashboards and visualizations.
Contribute to data review meetings and issue escalation discussions.
Prepare clear medical records to support inspection readiness.
Identify data quality trends. Help strengthen review standards over time.
Educational Qualification
MBBS, MD, PharmD, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or another relevant medical or healthcare degree with clinical research experience.
A Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Public Health or a related field with 5 or more years of clinical research experience.
A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing or a related field with 7 or more years of clinical research experience.
Skills Required
5 or more years of experience in research within biotech, pharma or CRO settings.
Experience reviewing complex clinical trial datasets.
Good understanding of data review processes within GCP environments.
Experience using tools such as Spotfire or Power BI for data analysis.
Ability to turn data into clear actionable insights.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to leadership.
