Job Summary
The Senior HEOR Associate works within the team of Parexel’s Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) Evidence Evaluation unit. The primary responsibilities of this role include performing SLR activities in a full cycle and providing evidence-based outputs of high quality that can be used for healthcare decisions, market access, and reimbursement purposes.
Key qualifications of the applicant include having excellent analytical skills, scientific writing knowledge, and being able to handle several deliverables simultaneously in a consulting company. Under the supervision of Project Leads and Subject Matter Experts, the applicant is expected to provide deliverables of a high quality to customers.
Key Responsibilities
This entails conducting systematic literature review (SLR) functions, which include development of SLR protocol, literature screening, data extraction, and feasibility assessment. The person will produce evidence deliverables in the form of reports on systematic reviews, manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations to be used by the clients.
Duties include ensuring prompt and quality execution of projects by prioritizing tasks and working in coordination with project managers, as well as producing client-ready deliverables.
It also includes helping out in consulting services through understanding client needs, proper use of methodology, problem identification, and strategy formation. The applicant will be involved in client interaction and presentation under the supervision of senior colleagues.
The job also entails help in project management functions including project deliverables and timeline coordination, and business development tasks like proposal writing and opportunity identification.
The applicant will also engage in organizational functions including project documentation, administrative functions, and organizational initiatives.
Qualification and Skill Requirement
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or technical discipline is required
Master’s degree in:
Life Sciences
Public Health
Health Economics
MBBS
or PhD is preferred
Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience in:
Health Economics, Outcomes Research (HEOR)
Systematic Literature Reviews (SLR), or
Evidence evaluation roles
The job needs expertise in systematic literature review and evidence synthesis approaches. In addition, scientific writing skills are required to prepare documents like reports and manuscripts. Individuals who can analyze and solve problems efficiently are preferred.
Knowledge of the health care sector, especially about market access and reimbursement, is desirable. Skills in managing relationships and communication are needed to work with the stakeholders. Project management experience in a consultancy setup is also required. Microsoft Office tools and data handling knowledge are required.
Salary and Benefits
At Parexel, one will earn a good salary that is commensurate with industry standards. The remuneration package is between ₹13.8-17 LPA, dependent upon the years of experience and speciality of the candidate.
