 Job Summary  

This role sits within Global Medical Affairs, Product and Portfolio Strategy based in Bangalore. As a Sr Specialist, Medical Excellence you will lead how medical insights shape strategy across therapy areas. You will build frameworks, processes and governance that turn insights into action. The role connects regional teams helping insights reach patients healthcare professionals and internal strategic priorities.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the Global Medical Affairs insights to action framework.

  • Support evidence based prioritization of questions and medical activities.

  • Partner with Therapy Area teams to define key insights themes and questions.

  • Spot emerging trends, evidence gaps and shifts that may affect strategy.

  • Design processes to bring insights into strategies and evidence plans.

  • Support launch planning, lifecycle strategy and ongoing strategy refinement.

  • Build strong two way communication between regional teams.

  • Create a community of practice for Medical Affairs insights work.

  • Build dashboards to track insights, decisions, actions and outcomes.

  • Define and track metrics that show the impact of insights driven decisions.

  • Assess insights capabilities. Build training, guidance and practical tools.

  • Coach teams on insights collection, synthesis and strategic storytelling.

  • Make sure all insights work follows company policies and compliance standards.

 Educational Qualification 

  • MBBS, MD, PhD, or a relevant Master's degree in Pharmacy or Life Sciences.

 Skills Required 

  • 6 or more years of experience in Medical Affairs, ideally in a global or regional healthcare setting.

  • Strong experience in strategy in insights generation and in evidence synthesis.

  • Good understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and of the Medical Affairs role.

  • Familiarity with insights management platforms with analytics and with data visualization tools.

  • Excellent communication. Excellent strategic storytelling skills.

  • Strong scientific judgment, business awareness and strong adaptability.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
