Job Summary
This position is for a Clinical Scientific Expert I based in Hyderabad and you will help with clinical trial activities. You will look at data, find patterns and help fix data problems with support from senior leaders. This job is a part of the Clinical Trial Team and might also help with other program work. Having scientific knowledge and good data review skills is very important for this job.
Key Responsibilities
Review data carefully and look for important findings by checking information at the patient level and analyzing trends.
Collaborate with teams to make data review better focusing on patient safety whether patients fit the study and the accuracy of data.
Assist in creating the data review plan and ensure that study rules are followed consistently throughout the trial.
Support the creation of case report forms. Help establish data collection tools.
Help make data review steps better by identifying repeated problems and trying out tools.
Support the writing of study documents, including parts of safety updates and submission files.
Help write and review clinical trial documents, study reports and publications.
Support pharmacovigilance work when needed, such as reviewing safety reports and attending safety meetings.
Build training material and train the wider clinical trial team.
Support or present at study meetings, such as investigator meetings or data monitoring meetings.
Build strong subject matter knowledge in the disease area and data review tools.
Educational Qualification
An advanced degree in life sciences or healthcare is required for this role, such as a Master's, PharmD, MPharm, PhD, MBBS, BDS or MD.
Around 1 to 2 years of experience in clinical study work is needed, or 3 to 4 years in a clinical operations or clinical scientific role.
Skills Required
Good knowledge of Good Clinical Practice and drug development steps.
Strong scientific knowledge in at least one therapy area.
Understanding of clinical data collection, EDC systems and reporting tools.
Experience in Rave or OC RDC is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and ability to spot data trends early.
Good medical and scientific writing skills.
Ability to work well across teams and know when to raise an issue.
Salary Structure
