 Job Summary 

This entry level role sits within Labcorps data management solutions group for nonclinical studies, based in Bengaluru. As a Data Information Services Associate I, Data Information Services Associate I will learn to populate and query databases under supervision. Data Information Services Associate I’s work will involve reviewing study documents, compiling metadata and generating database requests. The role also involves exposure to software testing and validation activities as Data Information Services Associate I grows.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Learn methods for direct client contact.

  • Learn to prepare form letters and standard communication text.

  • Use software tools such as word processing, spreadsheets and database applications.

  • Review study documents, including protocols and reports to gather information.

  • Learn to compile metadata to support database population and reporting.

  • Generate and quality-check database requests across study and data types.

  • Compile data manually, often within spreadsheets, into a usable format.

  • Run information searches to find relevant data within required timeframes.

  • Train on software testing and validation activities as required.

  • Execute test scripts and maintain documentation in line with Systems Life Cycle standards.

  • Take on duties as assigned by the team.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's degree in Science.

  • A Master's degree in Science or a Bachelor's degree in Technology is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • 6 months or more of clinical research experience along with programming knowledge in SAS, R or Python is preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of office software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good time management and organizational skills.
