 Job Summary  

This remote job helps support safety operations around the world at ProductLife Groups Safety and Vigilance Hub and it follows UK working hours. As a Data Officer you will handle the intake of safety cases process them and make sure the work meets quality standards for customers in the pharmaceutical industry worldwide. Your tasks will also involve reconciling records helping with audits and keeping reporters and stakeholders in communication. This role needs knowledge of regulations and real hands‑on experience, in pharmacovigilance.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform local safety case receipt, triage, processing, and data entry in safety databases.

  • Conduct quality control tracking and manage ICSR follow up activities.

  • Register, triage, assign, and coordinate vigilance cases for timely processing.

  • Manage generic and client specific pharmacovigilance email inboxes.

  • Initiate and manage follow up requests with local reporters for complete safety information.

  • Respond to safety related queries from clients, stakeholders, and reporters professionally.

  • Perform periodic reconciliations to ensure accurate handling of vigilance reports.

  • Support local and global pharmacovigilance activities led by safety teams.

  • Take part in internal audits and regulatory inspections.

  • Contribute to corrective and preventive action plans when needed.

 Educational Qualification 

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field, or equivalent relevant experience.

 Skills Required 

  • At least 2 years of experience in pharmacovigilance within a service provider or CRO environment.

  • Hands on experience in ICSR data entry, case processing, and quality control.

  • Proven experience working to strict regulatory timelines and deadlines.

  • Prior exposure to client communications in a global pharmacovigilance setting.

  • Strong understanding of UK and EU pharmacovigilance regulations.

  • Good knowledge of GVP, GCP, FDA, and global drug safety requirements.

  • Strong understanding of pharmacovigilance principles, adverse event reporting, and causality assessment.

  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex PV concepts clearly.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline driven environment.
