 Job Summary  

This role focuses on supervising compression activities within the production area, based in Pithampur. As an Executive, Production, you will ensure quality manufacturing in line with cGMP, safety, and hygiene standards on a shift to shift basis. Your work will include line supervision, documentation, and validation support. The role also involves maintaining discipline, productivity, and safety compliance across the production floor.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Allocate workmen to different workstations on a shift to shift basis.

  • Supervise line operations, including weight checks, machine setup, and product testing.

  • Review batch manufacturing records and other quality documents.

  • Complete process parameters and GMP records, following ALCOA plus principles.

  • Ensure smooth operations without stoppages due to manpower or machine issues.

  • Take part in validation activities for equipment, trials, and batch studies.

  • Maintain cGMP practices and accurate documentation across all records.

  • Handle minor machine parameter issues for different products.

  • Monitor machine speed and output against planned run time.

  • Report any unauthorized movement of workmen from the production line.

  • Take on supervisory duties in the section head's absence, when needed.

  • Support SOP preparation and other required GMP documentation.

  • Report daily activities through the SAP system, when applicable.

  • Support calibration and verification of balances, timers, and related equipment.

  • Take part in machine qualification activities as per approved protocols.

  • Check calibration and qualification tags for equipment and safety devices.

  • Support line clearance checks during product and batch changeovers.

  • Monitor temperature, humidity, and pressure conditions across the production area.

  • Take part in EHS, safety, and quality related activities and training.

  • Report unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and near miss incidents.

  • Support hazard identification and risk assessment activities on site.

  • Provide training to subordinates as required.

  • Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

 Educational Qualification 

 A diploma or degree in pharmacy, science, or a related technical field.

 Skills Required 

  • Strong understanding of cGMP, safety, and hygiene standards.

  • Good knowledge of production line operations and batch documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail in quality and compliance work.

  • Good problem solving skills for handling minor equipment issues.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and discipline on the production floor.

  • Comfortable working in shift based manufacturing environments.
