Job Summary

The HEVA - Expert Scientific Writer will be responsible for creation of scientific content with regards to the health economics and value assessment. This position deals with development of different documents such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters and presentations, which will enable communication about the value of health care products to different decision-makers.

The incumbent at this position collaborates with the rest of the team globally and locally to ensure consistency of communication in line with the total strategic plan. HEVA ensures that there is presentation of scientific and economic evidence to facilitate health care decision making.

This is an advanced position that requires expertise in scientific writing and the ability to work independently on projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Development
The expert writer is tasked with developing scientific documents such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentation slides. The documents have to be in line with the organization’s HEVA strategy and its communications plan. The information has to be able to provide clear evidence on the value of the products in terms of the clinical and economic aspects.

The person has to develop specialized content individually and in a manner that will be accurate, clear, and consistent.

2. Communication Strategy Support
The individual contributes to the execution of communication plans by working closely with cross-functional teams. They help identify evidence needs. They also ensure that communication materials address those needs effectively.

They also support the integration of clinical and economic data into communication strategies. This helps decision-makers understand the full value of products.

3. Process and Compliance Management
The job includes handling the processes, templates, and documentation related to various products and business units. The writer makes sure that all the information is in line with standard operating procedure guidelines.

Other duties of this role is to keep track of and update the value dossier and core value deck documents.

4. Stakeholder Collaboration
The expert writer works closely with internal teams such as HEVA, real-world evidence (RWE), and scientific communication. They also interact with healthcare professionals and external experts.

Strong collaboration skills are essential for this role. They need to gather insights, develop content, and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.

5. Mentoring and Team Support

Qualifications and Skills
