 Job Summary  

This role is based in Gurugram and sits in a life sciences strategy practice at Putnam, part of Inizio Ignite. As a Global Consultant you will collaborate with others to solve business problems for clients. You will look at data try out ideas and give guidance to senior client leaders. The role means helping clients put the suggestions you give into practice.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Work in teams to solve complex business problems for clients.

  • Gather and study information, form ideas, and test them.

  • Build clear recommendations from your findings.

  • Share findings and advice with client teams and senior leaders.

  • Help clients put recommendations into action and reach real impact.

  • Work closely with colleagues across teams and countries.

  • Stay dedicated to projects from start to finish, and give hands on delivery support.

  • Bring deep knowledge of your practice area to add value for clients and teams.

  • Join calls with global teams and clients, including 2 to 3 late evening calls a week.

 Educational Qualification 

  • PharmD, MD or MBBS, or a PhD in life sciences is preferred.

 Skills Required 

  • At least 5 years of life science consulting or strategy experience.

  • Hands on approach, with comfort working directly with data, analyses, and models.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Strong interest in life sciences and healthcare markets, such as biopharma, medtech, diagnostics, or health services.

  • Good written and spoken communication skills.

  • Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization.

  • Leadership skills and a strong sense of initiative.

  • Ability to handle many tasks at once in a fast paced setting.

  • Ability to learn new subject areas quickly.

  • Knowledge of product strategy, market access, or growth strategy is a plus.
