Job description
Growth Manager - Academically Global
📍 Dehradun, India (Global HQ: Sydney, Australia) | Full-Time | Leadership Role
About Us
Academically Global is the world's #1 healthcare EdTech platform, helping international healthcare professionals, doctors, dentists, pharmacists, physiotherapists, clear licensing exams and build careers abroad (AMC, OPRA, ADC, APC and more). We've guided 10,000+ healthcare professionals across 88+ countries.
Headquartered in Sydney, Australia, with corporate offices in Dehradun and Hyderabad, India, we're a startup with real scale, 100+ full-time team members and 40+ part-time faculty/consultant and a profitable, bootstrapped company, built on sustainable, organic growth rather than burning venture capital. Founded by Dr. Akram Ahmad, who has personally guided healthcare professionals since 2018 and built a following of 1M+ across social media, we reach a premium, highly specific audience that most companies can't touch.
About the Role
This is a leadership role reporting directly to the CEO and founding leadership team. We're hiring a Growth Manager to own marketing strategy and team leadership as we scale further - someone who can operate with real autonomy, make senior-level calls on growth direction, and be held accountable for results, while staying closely aligned with the CEO's vision. You'll lead a team of 15-20 people and have direct, high-visibility ownership of how we grow.
What You'll Own
Organic-first growth strategy across Social Media (YouTube, Meta, Reddit, LinkedIn), building audience and trust through education, not just paid reach
SEO and content strategy to grow organic search traffic and visibility
Performance marketing to complement and scale what's already working organically
Website traffic growth, lead generation, and conversion improvement across landing pages and blogs
Leading, mentoring, and setting direction for a 15-20 person marketing team
Campaign planning, budget allocation, and ROI tracking across all channels, reported directly to leadership
Building repeatable, scalable lead-gen funnels for a premium global audience
What We're Looking For
BTech + MBA from a premium institute
5+ years of experience in growth/performance marketing, with proven, demonstrable results
Prior experience in a leadership or team-lead capacity, comfortable operating with autonomy while reporting to CEO-level leadership
Hands-on expertise across Meta Ads, Reddit Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube, and SEO, able to execute, not just strategize
Strong understanding of organic/content-led growth, not only paid acquisition
Strong analytical mindset, comfortable with dashboards, CAC/ROAS, funnel metrics
Young, energetic, and thrives in a fast-moving startup environment with high ownership
Why Join Us
A genuine leadership seat - work directly under the CEO, shaping growth strategy at the highest level
Join the world's #1 healthcare EdTech, headquartered in Sydney with a growing global footprint
Work directly with a founder who has built a 1M+ following guiding this exact audience since 2018
A real, scaled team, 100+ full-time members and 40+ part-time faculty, not a 5-person garage startup
A profitable, bootstrapped company, real stability, no investor pressure, decisions made for the long term
Startup culture: fast decisions, real impact, no bureaucracy.
