 Job Summary  

This position is part of the MACR business unit, located in Mumbai. As a Manager, Medical Science you will take charge of medical monitoring tasks during trials. These tasks include checking if patients meet the study criteria and reviewing their safety. You will be responsible, for creating study documents working with doctors and helping with data review and data cleaning. The position also includes teaching study teams and answering any questions that come from investigators about the study protocol.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Carry out medical monitoring, including eligibility checks and safety reviews.

  • Prepare synopsis, protocol, and Clinical Study Report documents.

  • Present study proposals during subject expert committee and regulatory meetings.

  • Work with clinicians and key opinion leaders to finalize study design.

  • Review and approve patient eligibility through the IRT system.

  • Support data management teams during data extraction and cleaning activities.

  • Train study teams on protocol requirements and study endpoints.

  • Resolve protocol related queries raised by investigators and ethics committees.

  • Review adverse event and serious adverse event forms with timely feedback.

  • Support medical writing of scientific documents.

  • Plan publication activities, including manuscripts, abstracts, and study articles.

  • Collaborate with the statistics team on additional clinical data analysis.

 Educational Qualification 

  • MBBS with MD in Pharmacology.

 Skills Required 

  • 1 - 2 years of relevant experience, or fresh graduates may also apply.

  • Experience working as a medical monitor or medical expert across different therapy areas is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of clinical trial design and endpoints.

  • Good medical writing and scientific documentation skills.

  • Strong communication skills to work with clinicians and investigators.

  • Good analytical skills to support data review and safety assessments.
