Job Summary
This in-person role is part of Amgens Scientific Communications team, which is a part of the Global Medical Organization in Hyderabad. As a Manager you will create scientific and publication content for your assigned therapy area. Your work will support US medical strategies working closely with planning and operations teams. The role includes writing publications managing content workflows and responding to information questions.
Key Responsibilities
Create quality scientific and medical content for many different audiences and channels.
Deliver publications, such, as research papers, abstracts and posters.
Handle medical information questions and escalate when needed.
Produce content to support interactions with payers and compendia submissions.
Manage content workflows and approvals using the systems and processes.
Work with the Scientific Communications Operations team to standardize processes.
Help track KPIs and support digital and multi channel communication methods.
Support the execution of a scientific communication plan.
Follow Amgen SOPs along with regulatory and industry guidelines.
Keep good relationships with cross functional teams.
Educational Qualification
Doctorate degree with 4 or more years of publication experience.
A Masters degree or MBBS with 8 or more years of experience in global publications, medical communications, medical value and access or medical strategy.
A Bachelors degree with 10 years of relevant experience.
An Associates degree with 15 years of relevant experience.
Skills Required
Previous experience in Medical Affairs or Clinical Development within biopharma related clinical or research work.
Strong understanding of commercialization processes related to regulatory requirements.
Previous experience with publishing including adherence to guidelines such, as ICMJE and Good Publication Practice.
Robust understanding of your disease area to critically evaluate literature.
Ability to independently carry out strategy within a matrix environment.
Knowledge of technologies such as AI tools and digital engagement platforms is a plus.
Strong computer and database skills, in Microsoft Office.
Excellent writing and speaking abilities.
Ability to work well with virtual teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks.
Salary structure
