 Job Summary 

Based in Gurgaon and serving North India, this post will seek to promote medical scientific affairs through engagement with healthcare professionals, key opinion leaders and important stakeholders. The Medical Affairs Manager is responsible for providing organization for the scientific and educational activities, scientific materials development, medical queries response, regional and brand support, field and commercial team training and activity review for compliance with applicable rules and industry norms. The post involves 1 to 3 years of relevant experience and an MBBS qualification.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Plan and coordinate scientific programs, such as symposia, conferences, continuing medical education programs and speaker-led sessions in accordance with established processes.

  • Prepare scientific presentations, educational materials, handouts and other tools utilized during healthcare professional contacts.

  • Build and sustain scientific ties with healthcare providers and key opinion leaders through field trips, accompanying calls and evidence-based discussions.

  • Provide accurate and quick responses to medical and scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals, field teams, patient groups and relevant authorities.

  • Provide scientific insight, assist with appropriate product positioning and contribute to the creation of medical strategy, working with brand and cross-functional teams.

  • Support regional medical affairs activities and plan virtual and face to face medical interactions across North India.

  • Conduct training programs and refresher courses for field, marketing and training teams to enhance their knowledge of science and nutrition.

  • Review medical materials and activities for compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry codes and organizational policies.

  • Work with medical, commercial, training and field teams to support ongoing and planned medical affairs efforts.


 Educational Qualification 

  • MBBS qualification essential.

  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience preferred.

  • Preferred experience in newborn nutrition, pediatrics, medical affairs, medical consulting or similar healthcare field.

 

 Skills Required 

  • Excellent medical/scientific communication skills.

  • Ability to prepare scientific presentations and educational content.

  • Ability to engage healthcare professionals and important opinion leaders.

  • Ability to answer medical and scientific questions well.

  • Knowledge of diet and other medical/scientific issues.

  • Ability to work well with medical, commercial, training and field teams.

  • Knowledge of regulatory regulations, industry norms, and internal compliance standards.

  • Available for medical assignments throughout North India.

 

Salary Structure 

The average salary of Medical Affairs Manager- Nestlé, in India is ₹15 Lakhs to ₹18 Lakhs Per Annum.
