Job Summary 

This role focuses on writing and reviewing documents, such as patient safety narratives and sections of clinical study reports. As a Medical Writer you will prepare documents of complexity while following guidance from senior team members. You will also support experienced writers by working on study protocols and reports. This role guarantees that documents are delivered on time and with quality, to both internal teams and external sponsors.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Prepare and review patient safety narratives.

  • Support project management work for narrative based projects.

  • Prepare and organize clinical study report appendices.

  • Write simple documents such as synoptic or abbreviated study reports, under guidance.

  • Support senior writers with clinical study protocols and reports.

  • Follow company and client procedures, along with relevant regulatory guidelines.

  • Update documents according to comments, from external reviews following guidance.

  • Communicate with external clients to help achieve project goals.

  • Follow internal company processes at every stage of document preparation.

Educational Qualification 

  • A first degree in Life sciences, or an equivalent qualification.

  • An advanced degree, such as a Master's or PhD, is preferred.

Skills Required 

  • One to two years of experience in writing narratives.

  • Excellent skills in writing and speaking English.

  • Good ability to write and talk clearly.

  • Proficient in MS Word.

  • Strong skills, in organizing tasks and managing time.

  • Good skills when working with people. Prior scientific or clinical research experience is helpful.
