Job Summary

The Officer / Executive – Manufacturing Job Profile requires one to conduct production processes according to the set guidelines, safety measures, and regulations. One must work within a plant setting in order to ensure efficient production processes, adherence to quality standards, and prompt output delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The incumbent is expected to operate and supervise manufacturing machinery in accordance with SOPs in order to have their smooth running with reduced downtime.

The person will carry out batch manufacturing tasks while ensuring that the set production objectives are met on schedule.

This job entails having proper documentation for all records such as batch records, log books, and production reports in line with GMP regulations.

It will be the duty of the individual to keep an eye on the critical process parameters and undertake corrective action in case of any deviation, wherever necessary.

It requires compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental policies within the plant.

The individual shall work in conjunction with the QA, QC and maintenance teams to ensure that the manufacturing process runs smoothly.

The candidate will help in resolving any trouble that arises during the manufacturing process and will also be a part of the preventive maintenance process.

The candidate will ensure that the raw material, intermediate, and finished goods are properly handled and stored.

The candidate will also help in carrying out audit and inspection processes.

Qualifications and Skills

Education: B.Pharm or M.Pharm

Experience: Freshers or candidates with 0–3 years of experience in:

  • Manufacturing

  • Production, or

  • Plant operations

The candidate needs to have a basic idea about GMP, SOP, and the chemical manufacturing process.

It would be better if the candidate has an idea about the safety measures and regulations.

Good observation skills are a must for the candidate.

The person needs to have good problem-solving skills and must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Some basic computer knowledge and production systems knowledge are required.

The candidate needs to be ready to work on shift duties, even nights shifts.
